Frequently Asked Questions About the Baza
Does it work with any AR trigger?
Yes, the Baza uses AR-15 triggers, so any AR compatible trigger should work.
Do you have a version in 9mm?
We are working to add additional calibers in the near future. We are targeting Q4 2026 for our next caliber.
Can I get a folding stock or brace?
A folding stock adapter is coming soon. The folding stock adapter will be compatible with all M1913 mount stocks and braces. Expect it in Q2 2026.
Do you have a pistol version?
A pistol version is in development. We expect it will launch in Q2 of 2026.
What parts do you make for the Baza?
At present, we make the bolts, carriers, uppers, lowers, magazine catches, bolt handles, and several other small parts for the Baza at our facility in Pennsylvania. Barrels come from a local barrel manufacturer specializing in precision rifles. We source off the shelf parts (stocks, hand guards, etc.) from US manufacturers to the extent possible. We also assemble the Baza at our facility in Pennsylvania. Specialist vendors perform processes like coatings and heat treatment.
Is this a Bear Creek Arsenal Upper Receiver?
No, the Baza is an action of our own design. We have no association with Bear Creek Arsenal and have done our own design work on this. The Baza evolved from the AR-15, but has undergone substantial modification from the original design.
Does the Baza use a standard AR bolt?
No. The Baza uses a custom bolt derived from the AR-15. Standard AR-15 bolts will not function.
Will the Baza upper work on any other lowers?
No. Some 45 ACP blowback lowers might work with some modifications, but this would be pure chance. The magazine positioning is unlikely to be correct and there are some other modifications to a standard AR lower. Even if another lower did happen to work, it likely would not function well.
